Checker, Flowmeter Rotor Spin Resistance

CHECKER, FLOWMETER

The General Oceanics Model 2030CF Checker Frame provides a check on the proper operation of your Model 2030 and 2031 series flowmeters. The frame imparts a torsionally precise spin to the rotor and a count difference is noted in the flowmeter window. A minimum count is necessary for the flowmeter to be in acceptable working condition.

To use, simply clip the flowmeter into the frame, rotate the frame spinner disk until it is cocked, press the release button, and note the difference in counts on the counter assembly. Note: can only be used on a flowmeter using the standard (white 3 blades) rotor.
